Unbelievable! Parent Faints, Others Cry as Students Make Shocking Demand to Play More and Study Less (Photo)

Parents and teachers of a school have been shocked to the boned with an insane demand and reason given by some students on why they have refused to sit for the term's examination.

A parent at a school in Nyandarua County, Kenya fainted after students made outrageous demands during a meeting convened by the Principal to sort out the students' rebellion.

According to The Kenyans, students of Kiganjo Mixed Day Secondary School had declined to sit the end of term exams saying they were difficult. The school resolved to send them home with each of them required to return with their parent.

During the joint teachers and parents meeting, they complained that their brains were exhausted and wanted to play more and study less.

The students ordered the school to buy skipping ropes, balls and more sporting equipment so that they can cool their minds after rejecting the end of term exams.

The learners' demands seemed to have shocked to the core one parent who fainted during the session. Other parents are said to have shed tears on hearing the demands their children were making.

Some of the parents suggested that the students be caned thoroughly for their outright rebellion.

Principal Esther Chege convened the meeting on Monday after the Form Four students were sent home on Thursday last week after rejecting the exams.

It emerged during the meeting that the student unrest was influenced by other schools within the area.

Parents and teachers agreed that 15 students who bore the greatest responsibility of inciting others to be held at Ol Kalou police station for questioning.

It was also agreed that students will sit for the exams and teachers will monitor their moves all the time.

“These measures are not to ruin their lives, but to remedy their behaviour and secure their future,”
Chege was quoted by a local daily.
